Jawahar Bhalla
JB is a passionate Systems professional with 30+ years’ experience established across multi-national organisations in technical and strategic leadership roles delivering complex capabilities across sectors. He continues to contribute to the advancement of Systems Thinking, Systems Engineering and Modelling & Simulation locally, regionally, and globally, through leadership roles in peak bodies including the Systems Engineering Society of Australia (SESA) and Simulation Australasia.
He is the current elected Technical Director of SESA, and an elected co-chair of the Australian Defence Force Synthetic Environment Working Group (SEWG). He was an elected member of the Simulation Australasia Board (Aug 2014 – Nov 2019), a founding member and past Chair of the SimAust Professional Development committee (2006-2016) and was the Convenor of the SimAust SimTecT conferences from 2006 to 2008.
He has a BE in Aerospace Engineering and a BSc in Computer Science from UNSW, a Master’s in Systems Engineering from UNSW@ADFA and is a current iPhD candidate on an Australian Government Research Training Program Scholarship, with Shoal as the industry partner, at the University of Adelaide.
