Kerry Lunney
Kerry Lunney, has extensive experience developing and delivering large system solutions, across various industries including ICT, Gaming, Transport, Aerospace and Defence. The systems delivered range from financial and gaming systems to full military combat systems. Her career has spanned over 30 years holding technical and engineering leadership roles in Australia, India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, USA and NZ. She has worked in the international organizations of Rockwell, Boeing, GTECH, and Thales. Currently, Kerry is the Director of System Architecting & Engineering, Safety Assurance, and Ecodesign in Thales Australia.
Kerry is a Fellow of the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE), and holds the Expert Systems Engineering Professional (ESEP) qualification. She is also a Fellow of Engineers Australia with the status of Engineering Executive and Chartered Professional Engineer.
Kerry has held many volunteer roles in her career including President of the Systems Society of Australian (SESA), and INCOSE President. She has contributed to the authorship of a number of papers and text including “Emerging Trends in Systems Engineering Leadership”, and “Systems Engineering Agility Primer”. In 2024 Kerry was the recipient of the INCOSE Founder Award.
