The world’s most critical problems are inherently going to be solved via a multi-organizational, multi-disciplinary System of Systems approach. Individual potential improvements must be quickly assessed on their value and cost. And for those deemed valuable, rapidly integrated into the SoS. Our communities must rethink how we go about our traditional activities. Digital Engineering has a significant role to play. Just as importantly, we must shift from a traditional linear way of thinking on how to evolve a system towards embedding T&E far more natively into most activities. This talk will discuss opportunities ripe for innovation as well as some promising advances the MITRE Corporation is pursuing.
